When I was a kid I worked in my mom’s consignment shop. People would bring in treasures handed down through the family or a piece they had loved but no longer needed. Going to thrift stores or yard sales became a treasure hunt and over the years I developed a love for it.

As I got older and started to create my own home, I found that mass produced items that everyone else had didn’t give me quite the look I was after. Our family bought a new home right at the start of the Covid pandemic and when the shut down happened I had many rooms to decorate and fill with very few places to find what I needed. When supply chain issues meant long wait times and few choices, I went back to my roots and thrifted my way to a completely styled home that was perfect for our family.
